To help the 26% of Kiwis who are feeling unsocial and isolated and the 22% who say they have no one to talk to about personal problems, we’re on the hunt for the inaugural ‘Yarn Starter of the Year.’

Ultimately, we’re looking for the best or craziest question to kick off a good yarn.

The top 3 Yarn Starters (Living in the Christchurch region) will each win a trophy with their question inscribed. A nice addition to the mantlepiece!
